For immediate hire, our client, a regenerative agriculture company based in Mkushi, Zambia, seeks to fill the position of Data Entry Clerk.

Overall Responsibility

The Data Entry Clerk will support data entry, financial processing, reconciliation, documentation, filing, reporting and general accounting administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately post daily purchase invoices into Pastel Sage 200.
• Record farm production, inventory transfers and stock movement data into the accounting database.
• Cross-check source documents such as delivery notes, invoices and receipts against purchase orders.
• Assist in routine supplier statement reconciliations.
• Organise, scan and maintain physical and digital filing systems for all financial documentation to ensure audit readiness.
• Assist the accounting team with month-end closing preparations and administrative duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Degree or Diploma.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of Pastel Sage 200 will be an added advantage.
• Attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic and a self-starter.
• High levels of integrity and honesty.
• Good numerical and analytical ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Professional conduct and confidentiality.
